Sign up to Volunteer

We are thrilled that you want to instill a love for service and community into your family. Kids over the age of 5 may come with a parent or guardian, and teens 14 and older may come on their own. 



All of our "Restock the Pantry" Opportunities are flexible - when you sign up, just comment or email us what time frame (within our open hours) that you are able to come. 


Our new location is in the Fellowship hall at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church.

We are always in need of monetary gifts to help provide fresh produce and protein for our shoppers. You'll find the donate button at the top of the page, we accept paypal, venmo, and have a way to process credit cards in person at Solidarity if you want to drop by. 


We welcome anyone who is looking to serve.  Click the button below to sign up for time slots through our sign up genius and we can create a schedule for you to meet your hours needed on your first volunteer day. Abbey (abbey@solidaritysandysprings.org) will verify your service after it is completed. 


Our team is monitoring all  COVID-19 updates and at this time are mask-optional.

We ask that you wear clothing and shoes appropriate for lifting boxes of food and bring in minimal personal items.

 Serve our community by helping our neighbors choose food that will feed their families on our shopping days. we serve an average of 400 families every week!

Behind the Scenes

 Ensure that the pantry is ready to open by accepting, sorting, and packaging new donations to be given out, unloading deliveries, helping with Pickups and more! 

Drivers Needed

 Help us with our commitment to the environment by taking a load of recycling to Morgan Falls Recycle Center or picking up donations from local grocery stores.

Support Volunteer

Want to volunteer on the admin side of Solidarity? We need volunteers to help with data entry, writing thank you notes, creating new collateral and more! Support volunteers are needed on M/W/F every week!

The Packaged Good

 Help your community by creating a packaged good to help those around us! Throughout the year there are different projects where you and your family can work together to have an impact. Up now - Secret Santa!

Solidarity Youth Service Program

Are you a high school student looking for service hours or a chance to give back to your community? Join this group of teens who come together to work on different projects for our community and volunteer together.

Are you looking for a team-building activity that is grounded in community service? Contact us to set up a unique volunteer day for your team, including a tour of the pantry, immersive activities on food insecurity and the barriers our neighbors face, and directly serving your community through manning the pantry as it opens. 


Most often,  corporate teams serve together on a weekday morning.

Are you looking for a way for your group to volunteer together? Contact us to learn how your group can serve the Sandy Springs Community through an immersive pantry day! Opportunities vary based on times and days of the week and include restocking the pantry, giving out food to the community, sorting incoming donations, and more.


We can always accommodate groups who want to serve on a weekday morning and have limited availability on a Saturday!

Are you looking for a way to engage kids in community service? Set up a day with Solidarity Sandy Springs and immerse your group in activities about food insecurity and learning to be a good neighbor through service. The day includes a full pantry tour, an engaging game, and activities to get the pantry ready to open to the community.

Our Community Volunteer Partners

La Amistad's mission is to prepare Latino students and families for success through academic and life enrichment programs. For this semester they will have an afterschool location out of the pantry! To volunteer with them at Solidarity - sign up via their website and choose Solidarity.
