Opportunities vary based on times and day of the week and include restocking the pantry, giving out food to the community, sorting incoming donations and more.
Are you looking for a way to engage kids in community service? Set up a day with Solidarity Sandy Springs and immerse your group in activities about food insecurity and learning to be a good neighbor through service. The day includes a full tour of the pantry, an engaging game, and activities getting the pantry ready to open to the community.
We are thrilled that you are wanting to instill a love for service and community into your family. Kids over the age of 5 may come with a parent or guardian, and teens 14 and older may come on their own.
All of our "Restock the Pantry" Opportunities are flexible - when you sign up, just comment or email us what time frame (within our open hours) that you are able to come.

There is free parking in the shopping center parking lot.
We are always in need of monetary gifts to help provide fresh produce and protein for our shoppers. You'll find the donate button at the top of the page, we accept paypal, venmo, and have a way to process credit cards in person at Solidarity if you want to drop by.
We welcome anyone who is looking to serve. Sign up for time slots through our sign up genius and we can create a schedule for you to meet your hours needed on your first volunteer day. Abbey (abbey@solidaritysandysprings.org) will verify your service after it is completed.
All Volunteers and team members must wear a mask and practice social distancing while at the pantry. If you do not have a mask, they are available for purchase.
We ask that you wear clothing and shoes appropriate for lifting boxes of food and bring in minimal personal items.
La Amistad's mission is to prepare Latino students and families for success through academic and life enrichment programs. For this semester they will have an afterschool location out of the pantry! To volunteer with them at Solidarity - sign up via their website and choose Solidarity.
Second Helpings Atlanta is a non-profit food rescue organization dedicated to fighting hunger and reducing food waste in metro Atlanta. They are always in need of volunteers for projects and to serve the community.
